My fees are comparable to those of other experienced psychologists in the area. I attempt to hold my cost down by doing my own billing and streamlining my administrative practices as much as possible. I will be happy to discuss my fees with you over the phone or in our first consultation.
I am happy to bill your insurance carrier for you, including any secondary insurance you may have. If I do not participate in your plan you will be asked to provide payment at each visit and I will direct the insurance carrier to send any reimbursement to you. Claims are submitted weekly. If you have out-of-network benefits with Aetna or Cigna you will likely receive the maximum reimbursement. I will be very soon be billing electronically which will speed the reimbursement process.
My billing office is separate from my consultation office and I keep no billing information on my laptop computer. The portable storage device I use between offices is password-protected with 128 bit encryption software. I take confidentiality seriously.
